LE Europe worked with VVA, WIK Consult and WIFO to support DG COMP in the evaluation of the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation and the accompanying Guidelines on Vertical Restraints. The study focused on categories of vertical arrangements such as selective distribution, exclusive distribution, resale price restrictions, and price parity clauses. The methodology combined a range of approaches: stakeholder consultation, a comparative legal analysis of national rules and guidelines and of national jurisprudence, a literature review, and econometric analyses.
